Okay. Haven't been able to read much of The Historian, but so far so good. I hope to really get into it this week. I'm trying to read it in the midst of planning my trip with my family to Vegas. We leave on Thursday. Yahoo I'm outta here at exactly Noon on Thursday. It is unfortunate that I have to work that morning. I do the death notice at our local paper and people can't pick and choose when they get to go to that big library in the sky and each person in my tiny department has to work a holiday and I pulled Thanksgiving out of that hat. Not sure how much I'll get to read in my travels but I intend to take the book with me. Well that's about it for now. Happy Reading!!
P.S. My guys barely won by the skin of their teeth yet again.

So here I am again. I must tell you all. That I love to read, and I am one usually to read a book every one to two weeks. Although my favorites are authors such as Patricia Cornwell, Janet Evanovich and Sara Strohmeyer. I have branched out further than I used to. I used to be one of those readers that would pick certain authors and only read his or her stuff. When I a pre-teen I had read all of the R.L. Stines and Sweet Valley Twins. Now I see I must have been crazy, okay not really I read some good books. Judy Blume is one example. By the way she has some adult novels too. Check them out sometime. Well I just finished a book called The Revenge of the Kudzu Debutantes. The author, whom I can't remember her name at the moment, has only written this book. I hope to see more from her because this one was pretty good. Specially if you have ever thought you could come up with a plan to stick it to your lying, cheating lawyer husband. Today I am beginning The Historian, with has gotten rave reviews and has been compared to the likes of The Da Vinici Code. Which is unfortunate because I wouldn't have called the Da Vinci Code a great book it was good but not great.. But then again, I'm not the one to make those sorts of choices. So what are your favorite authors and why? I'm always willing to try new authors so please share. Happy Reading all.
